My good friend Chantal Powell has taken the plunge and started a blog of her own! It is called whispering Echoes!
Already successfully making and selling fused glass pieces. She is now on a journey to explore her ideas further. I think that she has an amazing eye for objects that have a sense of romance and narrative and I am the proud owner of one of her first pieces.

chantal left me a comment on my blog, and i got from her’s to here. i am intrigued, and will add this to my “daily” list. i too search for inspiration and direction in creative pursuits, and i’m interested to follow yours.

There seem to be a number of challenges! One is being inspired, the next is to use that inspiration to create, and now with the blog the next challenge is to communicate that journey! I dont think that I am to good at that last one yet, but i hope to be able to show you and discuss that thiings that flick my switch and how I filter and edit them in order to make something new.
chantal seems pretty good at this from the get go!
