I heard a talk from Jann Haworth today and she talked among other things the temptation for artists of realism. It rang true for me and the way that I sometimes make decisions about my paintings. I think you are right about black and white paintings not sitting right with the project because colour is so fundamental. It would however be interesting to see these two images, and maybe a couple of others as loose drawings in carbon or ink alongside the large scale planned lake painting/installation piece. I think these body/ landscape details would tie in with the beautiful and erotic details flashing through his mind at that time when he is so focused on the girls bodies. Gorgeous projections! Good work Bond!
