Deano! What can i say, we’re having the end of Metapod drinkies and its a shame you were unable to join us. But we hear you’re in Scotland so all the best with that and with the business as a whole. Keep in touch-we are organising a metapod reunion for February, we’ll see you there π x

Helloo Dean, Amazing set up you’ve done here. Great to see your influences and after seeing your work first it all kinda slots into place. Your ink drawings (you know the slightly dark and shuddery stuff ‘what have we done’) in particular, but you put your very own slightly twisted stamp on it though π
oh wow thanks for checking it out Bronny! sorry i never got to massage you ! definatley will though!
Hey Dean,
Thanks for the comment and yeah I remember you! Got your belated questionnaire last week – thanks! You seemed to get a lot from Metapod and was really great to meet you at CR Networking meeting – not sure I helped you really! π
I really like your blog by the way, its nice to see work in progress.
Well, I go away for a few weeks and lookie here – a trip to Paris, a lovely new layout for the blog and a Saatchi profile. “Chaotic Soul” – very apt!
Seriously though, it’s looking great – an well on the way to 5,000 hits! Astonishing! Looking forward to the private view on Nov 1 – should be a goodie.
Glad to see/hear that your voice gets clearer and stronger by the day, that’s how it appears to me anyway!
Still want to hear more about Paris though!
Helgs
Just a quickie really Dean…
I was thinking of coming to visit Wolverhampton Art Gallery and thought it would be better if you could show me round…are you around early next week? Or I should ask…are you off any time over the festive period?
Anyway, Merry Christmas!
gemma! yea im in just ask at the front desk. monday tuesday or wed.
Can you put an RSS feed capability on the blog so that I can subscribe and get updates sent to me rather then me having to remember to visit every now and again? i think it is a free option on wordpress…but you can always ask our pete to be sure.

I finally thought I’d give you my link to my blog after our chat at the Christmas fair at Wolverhampton! it wasn’t very developed before but there’s a bit more to it now! but it’s all still developing!
It’s nice to see your paintings, I especially like the Siren Project and the December 17th one, I like the colours and the darkness!
Hope you’re well,
Carly
hey your blog is looking good! thanks for sending the link. I have been a bit slow on blogs myself just lately. i am well and busy with all sorts at the moment. keep in touch. dean
Hi Dean, Great to meet you today. I’ve just been looking at some of your art – I especially like the drawings. Love back and white things, strange how they often seem to reveal more than all the colour in the world. You really capture things in your work too. Will be going back to look at some more soon and will tweet some links to your site. All my best to you, Ruth π
Keep thinking out loud Dean, its so refreshing to sit inside your mind. π
Thank you Paul I have been nervous about starting this new blog as I have fears about my writing but the benefits are outweighing that at the moment!
Hello Dean, I’ve been reading your blog for a while now.I felt a smile coming on when I read “writing to myself or a close friend” I thought that you might like a look at another writer/painter on Ilaria Del Turco. I find her to be interesting. Best wishes, Ian Warburton.
Hi Ian . Thanks for that. I must say I liked the look of your work and blog too!
If I am near Wolvs again -I visit Srewsbury from time to time- maybe I could look you up. Anyway I’ll keep reading. Best wishes, Ian.
Hey Ian
I’m in Stourbridge. If you fancy meeting up I could meet you half way. Do you go to twenty twenty?
That is funny, We sold our gallery to Twenty Twenty. We now live in France. Mary is making a good job of it. Giver her and Hugh my regards.
I have only just met them really. Just agreed to do something with them in September. A lot of my work is a little contemporary for the market their but I am working on some stuff that I think will cross over.
Be nice to chat more about France!! My email is daytonadean@hotmail.com .
Okay Dean, that would be a dayton d’accord then!
